CASA Manager uses FileMaker Pro as its foundation because it is the only relational software that works with Windows and Macintosh computers. You don't have to spend time or money changing your current computer or network system. Use one or the other or both on the same network!
Requirements for use with FileMaker Pro 11 (scroll down to see specs for FM10)

Windows: FM Pro 11
• Windows 7 Ultimate, Professional, Home Premium, 1 GHz or faster, 2 GB RAM, Direct X 9 graphics device
• Windows Vista Ultimate, Business, Home Premium (SP2), 1 GHz or faster, 2 GB RAM, 1024x768 video adapter
• Windows XP Professional, Home Edition (SP3), Pentium III 700 MHz or faster, 2 GB RAM, 1024x768 video adapter
FileMaker Pro 10 and 11 support Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) addresses, as well as IPv4 addresses.
Note: Small Business Server 2008 is not supported
Windows: FM Pro 10
- Windows XP Professional (SP2), Pentium III 500 MHz (800 MHz recommended)
- Windows Vista Ultimate, Business, Home (SP1); 800 MHz 32-bit (x86) or higher, 1 GB RAM, SVGA (800x600) or higher.
- 512MB RAM, SVGA (800x600) or higher resolution video adapter and display, CD or DVD drive and 80+ GB hard disk drive.
- Note: Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and MS Windows Server 2003 and Server 2008 Terminal Services are not tested and not supported. Check FMI's website for the latest technical specifications before using this option.
- Note On Windows 64-bit editions, FileMaker Server requires the 32-bit version of Java 6 Update 7
- Not compatible with Nvidia video card (Gforce 93000GE). Compatiable with ATI video cards.
- Bonjour needs to be installed on Windows operating system for either 32 or 64 bit computers.
Networking requirements all platforms:
TCP/IP: limited to nine simultaneous FileMaker client connections; each client requires a licensed copy of the software; see FileMaker Server 11 for increased capacity. FileMaker Pro 11 supports Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) addresses, as well as IPv4 addresses.
Any computer accessing FileMaker Pro files over a network will need to have a licensed installation of versions 8.x, 9, 10, or 11 of FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Pro Advanced. FileMaker Pro 7 and FileMaker Developer 7 use the same file format as FileMaker Pro 11/Pro 11 Advanced but are no longer supported due to product obsolescence.
Instant Web Publishing:
A host computer with continuous access to the Internet or intranet via TCP/IP. (FileMaker Pro 11/Pro 11 Advanced can manage up to five simultaneous Instant Web Publishing sessions. See FileMaker Server 11 Advanced for increased capacity.)
Web browser requirements:
To use a database shared with Instant Web Publishing, Windows web users need Microsoft Internet Explorer version 8.0 or 7.0 or Firefox 3.5. On the Mac, web users need Safari 4.0 or Firefox 3.5. Other Mozilla family browsers are not blocked but are unsupported and users will receive a dialog encouraging them to upgrade to a supported browser. JavaScript must be enabled in the web browser.
