It’s that time of year again!

The NCASA annual survey for 2020 opens on Friday, February 5, 2021. The updated report for the 2020 calendar year is in CasaManager and ready for you.

To find it, go to Reports>All Reports. In the search bar, type in NCASA and hit your return/enter key. This brings up the list of reports that use NCASA in the report button or in the description. You need the report, ‘Stats: NCASA Ann. Surv (2020)’.

Hit the report button, enter your start date (1/1/20) and end date (12/31/20), then hit ‘Run Report’.

We have autofilled the point in time date of 9/30/20; hit ‘Continue’.

The report will run and display your data, which you can drill down to by clicking on the whole numbers next to each question. Where we need to direct your attention to more guidance, we have an information icon button.

Tips and Tricks:

We highly recommend that you take these steps to help maximize your time and minimize your frustration:

  • Enter your agency’s information into the National Survey worksheet right now. This is found on the main navigation from the ‘Home’ screen. By completing your agency’s information now, it’ll save you some time when you run your full report.
  • Refresh your Data Review Dashboard and review any areas that do not show the ‘green thumbs up / All Good Here!’ By identifying and fixing gaps in your data earlier rather than later, you won’t be behind the gun at the last minute when your report is due.
  • We can’t stress this enough—START EARLY! Begin running your NCASA Annual Survey NOW, to get your preliminary numbers to see where you are regarding accuracy of your data.
  • Remember that each time you run the report, it is stored in the Report Archive. This eliminates the need for you to have to rerun the same report multiple times. *Note: if you fix or change data, you will need to run the report again from the beginning rather than accessing the stored copy in the report archive.
